Many years ago, Chip's Transmissions did an economy rebuild on an older General Motors automatic transmission for me. The rebuilt transmission worked well. Chip's did a good job. The price was right. I was pleased. Recently, Chip's Transmissions rebuilt and modified the automatic transmission on my 1998 Ford Windstar van. Chip's told me tht their "fix" wouldn't just put my van back on the road, but they would modify my broken transmission so that it would be better than the original. Chip's did exactly what they said. The workmanship was excellent. I was well pleased. Over the years, anytime I have called with a question or needing advice, Chip's has indeed been very helpful and forthcoming with good answers and information.
