In today's world, having a car care facility, which has highly skilled, certified, caring technicians along with knowledgeable and honest management, is a rarity. Working two hundred miles away, I can not be there personally each time my vehicle requires service. Knowing Chip's properly performs all the maintenance needed on my MX-5 and the fact that you guarantee everything you do, is one of my most valued resources. Once again, thanks for a job well-done! I would refer anyone to Chip's Transmissions-mainly because of the service I received a couple years ago and the service and honesty I received more recently. A few years ago I had a transmission built by Chip's for a restored truck of mine with an electric lock-up torque. It was a year later before I even installed the transmission. I never could get the lock-up torque to work. I didn't drive the truck much so I finally got it back to you around 2 or 3 years after you built the transmission, but with very few miles on it. Chip's checked it and found that the wrong valve body had been installed. Chip's installed the correct valve body and the lock up torque worked fine. Of course I had my reciept, but there was no charge--that's standing behind your work and correcting mistakes when there made. Alot of shops I am sure would not have done anything and if they had would have charged me. Thanks.

I was glad when another mechanic sent me to Chip's Transmissions. He said they are the best in town...that made me feel comfortable right there...and he was right...Even though it wasn't my transmisson they took care of the problem right then...They were polite and as helpful as they could be...I'm very pleased with the service I got and would tell others about your shop.
