My experience being a new customer with Chip's Transmissions was wonderful. As a sales rep that travels East Tennessee I depend on my pick up and when it breaks down, it's a killer. Basically when I don't travel it hurts my sales and my pocket book. I called Phil (in a slight panic) at Chip's and he got me in quick and reassured me "it's going to be alright." They rebuilt the Trans, and had the truck back in 3 days and best of all it runs as good as the day I bought it (no kidding.) I haven't had the professional service like that in a long time and being in sales I know good professional customer service. I just want to say to Phil and the crew at Chip's Transmissions, that I'll be back and I'm going to tell my friends if they need transmission work that Chip's is the only place they need to call. I brought my car in for repair to the Sevierville Shop. Chip's installed a new computer for my transmission. They did a good job - very honest and nice. The car is running great. Most mechanics would have taken advantage of a woman, but he didn't--he was great and a very very good technician.

I still find it amazing that I found next day transmission service in a tourist mecca like the Gatlinburg/Dollywood area of Tennessee. Chip's Transmissions service towed my car, call with an estimate and had the car finished in less than 24 hours. How's that for service? And on top of that, they even got it right!

Being on vacation in Gatlinburg and having my transmission go out, put me in a very bad spot. Phil at Chip's Transmissions provided good service and went out of his way to get me back on the road quickly at a fair price!!

The best transmission repairs in Sevier County. Everything that is promised - they will do and when promised. If your transmission doesn'nt need it--they won't replace it - good job!

A few years ago, I came to Chip's with what I thought was a transmission problem. A loose wire was reconnected and I was on my way--relieved and happy. And that's why I knew I could return to Chip's. They are honest and helpful; they look out for their customers. I have come back to Chip's for a rebuild of a transmission, and I'm leaning of even more services they offer for maintenance and repair. What a great staff!
