As well as international and local warranties, Chip's Transmissions' exclusive "Fair and Reasonable" local warranty goes above and beyond any of our other warranties and is also "in addition" to our other warranties. If one of our units should ever fail, for any reason, as long as you own your car, we will address your concern through caring and a sense of fair play. For example, if a repair on a transmission or any other repair we make ever fails for a reason that we feel should not have happened, we'll fix it for free. If a failure happens because it's just "one of those things" or was caused by the driver, we'll discuss your options and come to a repair agreement that's fair — for the both of us. You'll never pay full price again. The idea here is to assure our customers that we're here when you need us no matter what the problem is or who's at fault. We instituted this warranty because we believe that we build transmissions better than anyone else in the industry and if one of our units ever has a problem, we want to know why. We account for our loss from any warranty repair as research and development costs and we take our responsibilities seriously. Feel free to call us for details.
